As a Computer Vision Engineer, you’ll be using your technical expertise to solve complex and real world business challenges. This role will involve the full spectrum of the use case lifecycle; from conceptualization to execution, focusing on the optimization of the solution for both on-prem and cloud deployments.
What You Will Be Doing
- You’ll be taking comprehensive responsibility for the development of our computer vision pipelines, from ideation and building to deployment and refinement.
- Ensure optimization and scalability of our computer vision pipelines with a focus on both local and cloud-based applications.
- Engage in thorough benchmarking activities to assess and enhance the accuracy of latest computer vision breakthroughs.
- Proactively identify and resolve software bugs, ensuring a smooth and efficient deployment process.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional tech and operational teams to develop comprehensive solutions.
Our Ideal Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field / equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience with Computer Vision, particularly with model development and enhancement. Experience with object detection, imagine segmentation classification, and pose estimation are highly valued.
- Strong background in deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow). Proficiency with Python and image processing libraries is a must.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing computer vision pipelines, understanding visual data processing and algorithms.
- Data Pipeline Management: Curate, refine, and maintain specialized datasets. Oversee annotation projects and ensure data integrity for model training and validation.
- Effectively manage multiple concurrent projects while ensuring consistent delivery.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Hands-on experience with model optimization.
- Experience with Deepstream/Gstreamer/Edge optimised libraries is a plus.
- Excellent communication abilities and demonstrated ability to produce high-quality research outcomes, working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
