As our Senior DevOps and Cloud Solutions Architect, you’ll be a hands-on technical leader who will design, build, and optimize our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You’ll play a key role in ensuring scalability, security, and reliability of our applications. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll leverage your expertise in AWS, container orchestration, and automation to help us deliver high-performing and resilient systems.
This role is open to be based in our Singapore/Hong Kong offices, or remote.
What You Will Be Doing
- Architect and maintain highly available, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure (primarily on AWS).
- Implement and adhere to Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring seamless and efficient software delivery processes.
- Integrate security best practices (DevSecOps), vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks into pipelines.
- Work alongside CTO and other Senior Engineers to build and scale Django applications in a cloud environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for the continued development of our technology roadmap and long-term company goals.
- Guide and mentor developers and foster a growing team environment.
Our Tech Stack
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in languages such as Python, ReactJS, and TypeScript.
- Web Frameworks: Experience with web frameworks like Django and Flask.
- Databases: Skilled in both relational and NoSQL database technologies (comparable to PostgreSQL and MongoDB).
- Containerization & Orchestration: Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools (akin to Docker and Kubernetes).
- Cloud Services: Familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure and/or GCP).
Our Ideal Requirements
- Advanced Degree: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles, preferably in AWS environments
- Hands-on experience building and scaling Django applications in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Expertise in cloud storage, content delivery networks, virtual server environments, web socket technology, and optimizing cloud-based resources for performance and security.
- Experience in code versioning, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects, work independently and in teams with excellent verbal and written communication.
